Born in Plymouth, February 1980, Matt has always relished the limelight and craved centre stage attention. Being a natural entertainer, music was the obvious route to take. From an early age he mastered various musical instruments and learned how to read music.
In 1995 with the “Rave” scene almost dead in the south west of England and the “Cultural Vibe” element hitting Plymouth pretty hard, Matt quit from his position in a rock band and sold his guitars to purchase his first set of turntables.
Constant practise, record buying and non-stop mixing made him very popular and he soon attracted a huge following of supporters from all over the south west. By the age of 16 his name was getting known all over the region and set a bench mark for experienced and new DJ’s alike.

Matt moved to Spain in 2002 and it wasn’t long until he formed an Internet based forum (The Costa Blanca Clubbers) where like-minded people came together and planned dance events on the Costa Blanca. With the group proving to be a success, and a lack of decent dance music on Spanish radio, Matt soon put pen to paper and posed the idea(s) of a new dance project to Spectrum FM. After many talks held from early September to New Years Eve 2003, the go-ahead for the new dance shows was given and The Costa Collective, Saturday Selection and Midnight Mix were spawned! As Spectrum FM is the largest English speaking radio network in Spain this gave Matt the exposure he craved and his career took an upward flight. Not only did Matt write, host and produce three weekly radio shows he provided the 200,000 listener base with live mixes, outside broadcasts, boat parties and interviews with the biggest names in dance culture such as Tiesto, Judge Jules and Anne Savage to name a few. Having the access to a recording studio Matt also mastered audio production and was soon producing adverts and stings for the station as well as trying his hand at producing some tunes of his own.
In 2004 Matt returned to the UK reluctantly leaving the radio shows in the capable hands of the network, he began to work his magic in UK bars and clubs once again, building on a still loyal following and capturing the hearts and minds of audiences wherever he plays across the country. Aged only in his 20’s Matt is now dedicated to providing quality nights of dance music. With his network reaching some of the UK's biggest names Matt has vowed to bring big names back to his hometown whilst achieving national recognition himself.
